This is a copy of a painting I saw by a painter named Mark Keathley called Valley Overlook. It was $11,500, so I didn't buy it. But I found it on the web and decided to quickly sketch it. I tried to limit myself to 1 brush size so I wouldn't get caught up in details.

floating iceberg secret lair

This is my floating secret base that can be found in the Baffin Sea, west of Greenland. As you can guess, most of the base is under water. It's great to be able to exchange ideas on secret base design in a secure environment like Colors gallery. Now nothing can stop me!

Journey to a new land

Explorers discover a waterfall which seems to come alive with glowing life. Originally, I was trying to make unnatural colors look natural in a landscape. Then I made an airship and that became the focus. I just do whatever the picture wants to do. :)

Polar bear with cub

Polar bears are the coolest animals. I wanted to do a few things with this picture. I wanted to draw something photorealistic since I had never done that. I figured I'd try drawing fur since I had never done that. And I wanted to keep it all inside the replay limit as a fun challenge. Inspired by the polar bear that "Doggy" drew.

A brave warrior leads the giant snargralle into battle. The giant snargralle is used as an amphibious mobile fort. Even as it hides in its shell, its claws can be deadly armor piercing weapons.

Photoref - I was at a beachside cafe on Sunday and I saw some "art" on the wall on sale for around $300. It was a bunch of prints of paintings of surfers done from photo reference. I figured I'd do one and see if anybody wants to buy a print for 300. :P

Water Temple

Water flows through aquaducts from the mountian to the city and arrives at the water temple. I set out to do some fun architecture stuff and this is what I ended up with. Sorry about the replay cutoff. I'm not an experienced artist and it takes me a long time to draw stuff. It was hard to do straight lines and symmetry use Colors.

Wormy tree man

I decided to finish drawing this since I hit the replay limit. I thought it would be cool to do a tree face with a wormy-looking jungle tree. I've seen tree faces a lot but usually on oak-type trees. I thought this kind of tree could maybe give it some interesting character.
